I am very interested in how to introduce foreign indie artists to China's music market through legitimate channels where their music/brands can be protected. I believe that there is a huge consumer demand in good content as well as the desire for Chinese fans to be connected to foreign indie artists (the internet firewall keeps them well apart.) Meanwhile, a lot of these artists also really want to find out how to release their music as well as perform in China. I am currently doing market research for my thesis which will be focusing on building the bridge between the two. It would be very interesting to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks!
